Friday, September 13th could be a lucky day for five startups. Then they fight at the me Convention in Frankfurt for a starting place at the Reeperbahn Startup Pitch and a ticket for the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas. Well over 500 people have voted online for the five finalists who we would like to introduce to you!
It is still a while until the Reeperbahn Startup Pitch, but the hot phase has somehow already started. On September 13th there will be a Pre-Pitch at the me Convention in Frankfurt, a kind of qualification competition for the final in Hamburg. And that’s also where you’re in demand. Via an online voting you can decide which five candidates will compete at the me Convention and win attractive prizes!
How time flies! At the end of this week, on August 25th to be precise, is application deadline for the Reeperbahn Startup Pitch which will take place on November 7th at the Mojo Club. So if you already wanted to apply, don’t hesitate any more. And for all the others we have compiled the seven most convincing arguments as to why participation in the seventh edition of our competition is exactly the right thing for your startup.

The third edition of the me Convention, a cooperation between Mercedes-Benz and SXSW, will be held from September 11th to 13th during the IAA (International Motor Show) in Frankfurt. The complete details of the conference programme are currently being finalised, but the organisers are excited to announce a number of confirmed programme items. The Hamburg summer of 2018 is hot, even in September. But hotter still was our Startups@Reeperbahn Pitch in its sixth edition. At the end we had two deserved winners: COLDPLASMATECH was the favourite of the audience, while Cargonexx convinced the jury the most and became the main winner.
